‘Get Smart’ Love Triangle: Which One of Steve Carell’s Co-Stars Will Ruin His Marriage?

It looks like Anne Hathaway and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson are about to get in a hair-pulling, purse-swinging slap fight over who gets to rip their Get Smart co-star Steve Carell from the arms of his loving wife of thirteen years. Over the weekend, Anne Hathaway dumped her shifty boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, with an unnamed "pal" telling the Daily Mail, "Anne really wants to find a guy like Steve, and if he weren't married, I have no doubt she would date him in a second … She's such a fan of his work she couldn't help but quote episodes of The Office to him when they first met. She thinks he's amazing." At first, we thought for sure the "pal" had to be Steve Carell, but, given the way Hathaway's been talking about him in interviews, it seems like there might actually be something to this.

Blame it on his apparently bewitching kissing ability. Last week, she declared that making out with Carell (on camera, presumably) was like "the yummiest lollipop, dipped in sunshine and wrapped in a masculine wrapper!" (it's unclear if she was speaking euphemistically). And today, again, she's back at it: "I always tell people regarding improvising," she says, "Steve's an abstract expressionist and I finger paint. I'm a very good finger painter, but it's on a different level."

But she's not the only one who's smitten. Today, we learned that that the Rock thought kissing Carell was "fantastic." He elaborated: "Did you ever have warm chocolate cake mixed with ice cream? It's a fine balance. It makes you shiver? The kiss was like that."

So if it's Hathaway versus Johnson, who's got the upper hand? Carell did recently praise the softness of Johnson's lips and say he "smells like strawberry shortcake." Hathaway, on the other hand, has admitted that she had pinkeye and was oozing green mucus when she kissed him. Don't be surprised if you someone forwards you a photo of the Rock lying naked face-down on a towel at Sandals Jamaica. —Linda Holmes

Coldplay - Minogue Too Sexy For Coldplay Album

COLDPLAY star CHRIS MARTIN scrapped a collaboration he recorded with pop superstar KYLIE MINOGUE from his band's forthcoming LP VIVA LA VIDA OR DEATH AND ALL HIS FRIENDS - because it was "too sexy".

The Spinning Around hitmaker laid down vocals for a track she penned with the British rockers, but frontman Martin decided to leave the record off their new album - insisting it doesn't suit their current sound.

He tells Britain's Q radio station, "Well, it's just too sexy. At this point we cannot be that sexy, also we haven't quite finished it. It's a song called 'Lunar' and Kylie is particularly brilliant on it."

But the track hasn't been axed completely - Martin promises it will hit record shops in 2009.

He adds, "I'm going to tell you exclusively that it will be on a record that we will put out at the end of next year."
